Some people toggle off the chats. Would be useful to display system messages right in front of the game screen.

I agree, I never see the messages being broadcasted because I like to minimize the chat because it hurts my brain - But it really would be nice to see messages like that & even "Repel has worn off" perhaps shown in top right or middle of screen like, when a friend sign's on it shows in top right, hard to miss.

Players are notified that the game will be going down for maintenance or any other reason via commands. There are a couple of command that we can use to display messages. One is a system message which only appear in chat and the other is a similar message that appears in a small dialogue window which displays the message for everyone to see players usually have to click a button in order to remove the message. The feature you are suggesting can be done it's usually up to the staff member to determine which command he/she wants to use, so it basically comes down to preference.

Oh understood. I just seen the command you're tlaking about when some staff mentioned about a new mac/ android version of the game. Would be very nice if all staffs used that to notify if the server is going to go down (maintenance... not crashes). And that repel idea is nice too. Same goes to the 20mins safari. Would be good to have a timer of how mauch more time left. Thanks for all your efforts!
