I'd recommend dewgong. We all know it's not the strongest poke, but seels spawn 90% of the time in seafoam caves so with a bit of patience you can manage to get one with good IV's/nature.

Jynx could also be an option but she's harder to spawn and has extremely low def.

Jynx easy trade if you have poliwhirl. Also yeah those are some nice choices. Is my team comp fine by the way? I believe weezing can get "Thunder wave/bolt, fire blast maybe." and a mixture of whatever else.

I think you should equip dragon / ice type in order to against lance to avoid hard time with him.

 

Alternatively, you can learn ice -beam on your water type pokemon.

Yeah I decided to go for dewgong. Just a little something for that.

dont need dewgong when have gyarados with ice fang + dragon dance

Magneton first turn vs gyarados thunder wave -> ratata to free turn -> gyarados x3/4 dragon dance -> easy
