As I was walking I was switching my Pokemon and I happened to switch my Pokemon at the exact same moment that a battle activated. The game gave me an error in chat saying that I can't reorder my Pokemon during a battle but this is what ended up happening:

(Sorry for the lack of mouse cursor, I forgot to enable it when recording)

 

I realize this is something that will probably happen only extremely rare occasions, but perhaps it might be a good idea to make it so you can't switch Pokemon when moving?
