Channels for Other Languages

Featured Replies

Since the game is not restricted to the US or other English speaking countries this means that it will attract players from all different nationalities.

I don't know if you guys plan on adding more servers for different countries, but if it is not in your plans then, I think it's necessary to add channels for some of the other most common languages spoken:

For example you could leave all standard channels currently in game for English, and add French, German, Spanish, Portuguese channels.

Given that this is an MMO you can't really expect every single player to write and speak in English, this should alleviate clutter in chat and give people that speak another language a place to communicate with their other compatriots.

Hi Schliessen,

You can join ingame dedicated channel for your language. Here is some examples of the command to be typed in chat to do it :

/cgjoin french
/cgjoin portuguese
/cgjoin deutsch
/cgjoin spanish
/cgjoin LANGUAGE

After doing this, you need to click on the parameter icon right down the chat, and uncheck the 'Other' channel for example, then the channel you added before shows up.

Also, you can read this Ingame chat Guide to understand it better.

Tell me if this solved your suggestion/problem.

It's not really a problem for me, I didn't know this. The problem I see with this is that it's not something you can expect a newbie to know. There should be a way to make people aware that something like this exists and I'm thinking just adding the channels to the main chat box would be much easier to be honest.

Or if adding that many channels makes it look bad, it could be something like this (image), and add a set of preset channels to add from which are each language. Sorry for the bad paint skills
