Synchronoise move

Hello there,

 

I have an Hypno with the Synchronoise move.

This is the description of the move : "Using an odd shockwave, the user inflicts damage on any Pokémon of the same type in the area around it."

Hypno is a PSY type pokémon, so I do use it on PSY pokémons, and it does "Not very effective !".

 

I guess this is a bug with this move, or maybe am I doing it the bad way ?
