Hi, unfortunately your coins cannot be returned to you, as you've already spent them. However, since many Coin Shop items happen to be tradable, you can try a few things instead:

 

1. Selling the Pickaxe for in-game currency and using Pokedollars to buy the Coin Shop item(s) you want from other users.

2. Negotiating a deal with another user to trade the Pickaxe directly for the Coin Shop item(s) you want.

 

You can do that via Trade Chat in game or the online Trade forums. Good luck!
