You might have hit a latient, invisible queue, or you hit a bandwidth issue. Restarting your client should fix the problem.

Im having the same issues today. Was on earlier now it just says it cannot connect :\

edit: Could be invisible Q. guess ill wait a bit and see if i get in

You can check the server status here

You are most likely experiencing ghost queue - a term in which to describe the queue not being shown to you, yet you're going through one.
