Encounter Log

I looked through a few pages of suggestions and did not see this topic, if I missed it can someone please direct me to it.

 

My idea is to have a log of encounters for each area. The log would be in the same window as the list of Pokemon located in the area and would show you the total number of encounters you have had in the area as well as how many of each Pokemon you have encountered. I would envision it having the total number of encounters listed directly next to the route name and then under each Pokemon would be listed the number of encounters you have had with that Pokemon. The log could even go so far as to indicate how many, if any, shiny Pokemon you have encountered in the area. The data could then be combined to show over all data by region which would be located in the Pokedex.

 

I think this log would be extremely interesting just to see what your personal spawn rate is and be able to compare your spawns to your friends.

 

The biggest issue I see with this (outside of coding, ect. because I have no idea about that) would be encounters via dig and headbutt as these Pokemon do not show up on the list in the first place. I have seen people talking about it being a coding issue as to why they do not appear on the list so I doubt they could be added. I would say just to not include those as "encounters" for the area or, if it is possible, you could lump all the headbutts together and digs together and have overall data visible through the Pokedex.

 

I would love to hear peoples thoughts on this subject and any suggestions that go along with it as well as criticism or reasons this might not work.

Ummm, I don't think why we need encounter log.

1. It can make people easily to calculate the spawn rate number of pokemon, which is not recommend in PRO as staff not given these data.

2. You can do by yourself, of course with manual and take more effort as writing by hand.

3. Not important, not impact to playgame and very low priority
