Flodarien
I am trying to use the Focus Band to survive from 100% to 1hp. The Challenger: A level 34 Rattata. The Opponent is Giovanni's Mewtwo. Mewtwo uses Aura Sphere every time. I am either extremely unlucky, because it is now 30+ against 0 for him, or the item is broken. It does not help that the Focus Band does not have a description in game. Is the item coded correctly yet? Flodarien
I am trying to use the FEAR strategy, where I can beat him in 2 turns with no risk. The strategy uses a Focus Sash, but I can't get one. I'm trying to do a backup strat with Focus Band, but it's not working well. It really sounds like a risk if you've died to him 30 times considering you lose money every time you wipe. Robotron
You lose money when you blackout, but not when it's against gym leaders or the elite four. Im not sure about focus band. Hakunon
I think Focus Band isn't coded yet, but you could be just really unlucky, since Focus Band only gives a 10% chance of survival when hit by a move that would k.o your poke. It does not help that the Focus Band does not have a description in game. Is the item coded correctly yet? I can confirm that Focus Band works. However, it's a 10% chance to activate, so you're experiencing extremely bad RNG, unfortunately. I would suggest using a Magnemite with the ability Sturdy instead, as this is a more reliable version of Focus Band. It can be a low-level Magnemite, as long as it knows Thunder Wave and has Sturdy. Lead with the Magnemite and use your first turn to Paralyze the Mewtwo. After the Magnemite faints, you should be able to switch into anything that deals super-effective damage on the Mewtwo and land a hit, since the Mewtwo's speed will have been reduced.
