Jackson NPC does not give EXP or Money when his Pokemon are defeated.

Both trainers that are with Jackson in this room give EXP when Pokemon are defeated.

 

It was the first time I fought him and I did not lose to him at any time.

For some NPC in story, they don't give any money or exp after beat. That's normal, don't worry.
