As per Bulbapedia's description of critical hit mechanics, critical hits do not ignore the attack debuff you receive from being burned. That means that your Honchkrow's critical hit Night Slash damage will still be halved if it's burned. Hopefully that clears things up! Topic moved to proper forum.
