Poll! How many tries for login? Find out answers here

Featured Replies

Hello!

I've been trying to login all week, hours every day. Not a single successful login. But I'm not here to complain about it (this time.) I just really want to map out my chances of getting in.

I decided to study this by asking all of you about your experiences. This topic is here so that people can better understand their chances of logging in during this time of very limited server.

Please note this is only relevant until we get better servers, which the team must be working hard to get. Try to keep the complaining to minimum, as I'm sure nothing more can be done at this time to make it better.

Since I don't know how to make a real poll, I'll take the answers from your comments and gather some kind of results so that everyone can find out the answers I seek.

My questions for you: (all answers are naturally approximates)

1. During the last 3 days (counted back from when you answer) how many times/how long have you tried logging on? (Amount of visits, amount of successful tries per visit, amount of time spent each visit.)

2. Out of the successful logins ("logging in...") how many of them resulted in "server is full." (approximate % or something, 100% if you never got in)

3. If you got in, what time of day was it (GMT or such) and how many successful ("logging in...") tries did it take that visit?

4. Comments and other observations

As you see, this poll doesn't focus on failed attempts, which happen a lot too. They are unfortunate but they're not the real problem here. Try to keep your answers as clear and simple as possible so I can gather the results below as accurately as possible.

Example / my answers to these questions:

1. 4 visits, 20 tries through 3 hours each (total 80 tries and 12 hours spent. Luckily I was multitasking)

2. 100% of successful logins ended up with server being full.

3. Did not get in once.

4. Try to follow this form. I hope I'm just having bad luck with my logins but I'm waiting to hear your answers.

RESULTS: to be added here

Thanks for your input and hope to see you inside the game some day. Let's try to stay positive and not abandon this awesome game for not being patient enough. I'm sure the team will overcome this problem soon.

PS. Remember to check that the server is online before trying to log in. Don't include failed attempts to join while server is down in this poll.

I log in at various times throughout the day. It's usually busiest in the evening (4pm+ PST) for me. And it takes me around 2-5 minutes to log in each time. Sometimes I get in instantly.
