I noticed there was a Controller checkbox in the Keybindings Options section but when I use my Xbox 360 controller, my character constantly moves to the right. Is this function broken/still in progress? Or do I need to enable another setting in a file or something.

Hi there, this is because the Xbox 360 controller uses XInput, which is not supported by PRO at this time.

 

You can try to work around it by using a third-party program that lets you map keyboard/mouse input to controller buttons, such as Xpadder. Otherwise, however, you'll have to stick with the default keyboard and mouse options.

Do you know if a PS4 controller will work? I would really like to play with some sort of controller. If not, then I don't mind waiting.

For the PS4 controller, I believe you'll need to use a third-party key-mapping program like Xpadder.
