Ok so i started off the game, followed through the story, made my way to mt moon. and my friend who i helped start the game say she got 10k never knew how, i saw a youtuber with it as well, i asked in game help they say she should have give it i tell them no, they say maybe i skipped it and she just didn't give me money, i already have a gym badge so one tells me i can't evne get it now, however if mom should have given it to em i was never auto walked, I wish to find out who i speak to about this that can fix this issue so that i have my starting money i rightfully deserve. and please no personal vendetta on me just facts that can help me to what i need. The dude in front of the market I believe is an old man, who gives you like 10 pokeballs and 10k. I don't remember if thats from the very beginning or not. But I know in every region after I spoke to the gold man and that's what he gave me.

It's not possible to have picked up the item balls without first speaking to the mom NPC, at which point she'll give you the $10,000. In fact, it's not possible to progress through to the next city at all without having spoken to the mom NPC first. You likely did receive the money but didn't check the bottom left corner afterwards.

 

If you find yourself out of money now, you may have simply spent it on items at the Pokemart, which can add up quickly. You may also have lost it while blacking out in a battle - you'll lose 5% of your total Pokedollars every time you black out. Unfortunately, we aren't able to assist for that.
