Heya Mateys,

 

When i want to install the .apk on the Phone of my GF the App wants to get Permissions to use her call functions, meaning the app gets the right to make phone calls on its own or read the phone id and more.

 

My Question is: Why does the App want to have those Permissions? If the App doesnt need those Permissions, why are they still displayed?

Hi there. Don't worry, the Android client won't use those permissions to call other phone numbers or anything like that. The permissions are needed so that the application can pause in case your phone rings, prevent your phone screen from sleeping, access the Internet, and so forth. Here's a thread with further information, if you'd like to read up more on the technical side of things.

 

Again, please be assured that the PRO client won't use or store any user-sensitive information you may have on your device. I hope that clears things up a bit, if you had any concerns. :)
