Apparently if the server is down they will have been kicked as well so i don't think they would report you as they would too be kicked. If you remember their names you can contact them after the server goes back up and work the deal out.

Unfortunately, server crashes aren't something we have control over. The game is in beta, so unexpected bugs and crashes may happen from time to time, as much as we'd prefer they didn't.

 

As another user has already suggested, make sure you remember the IGNs of the users you're trading with, in case you lose connection or the server goes down as you're conducting the trade. Always screenshot your conversations so that you have records and can contact the other users through forum PMs or once you're back in game. As long as all parties are communicating properly, you should be fine.
