Shadowsz420
Hey guys, In trying to figure out the importance ranking of the 3 stats I have found some conflicting views. I concluded that ev > iv > nature Using example of Mega Blaziken (base stats from smogon) MBlaziken has a very high base attack stat of 160. 1) The 10% from nature applies to base stat, so stat diff between neutral and positive attack nature is 16. 2) IVs give a 1-1 value at lvl 100, so the diff between a 0 and 31 attack IV MBlaziken would be 31. 3) EVs at 252 give 63 attack. So for example, an MBlaziken with 31 attack IV and neutral nature would have a higher total attack stat than one with 14 attack IV and positive nature (by 1 point). Is this correct or am I missing something? Given that no pokemon has base stats of anything close to 310, can we say diff between positive and neutral nature is roughly 50% or less of the diff between 0 and 31 ivs? Not really, the nature applies to the stat itself, not the base stat. For your example, an Adamant M-Blaziken will hit 460 attack whereas a Jolly M-Blaziken will only stand at 419. Of course the assumption I checked in game chat turns out to be wrong :'( lol thanks Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/39693-evs-vs-ivs-vs-nature/#findComment-251093 Share on other sites
