Im trying to put together some maps so i can make my PRO portfolio bigger, but the problem being is i have a very small selection of the tile set to use. im missing pokecenter, store and so much more. I was wondering if i could have the full tile set so i could make something truly amazing.

 

i have the basic tiles from the mapping application page and thats it. Also how big are normal maps on here. I feel like the one im working on is Way bigger than what is used.

Hi there. This is intended - the basic mapping set only has outdoor tiles, not indoor ones. Stick with creating outdoor maps for your portfolio.

 

As for the size of the map, it depends on the map. I'd recommend flipping through the pages of the Mapping thread again to see what kinds of formats other submitted maps have been in.

im completely fine with out door maps. But i dont even have buildings for poke centers or marts, i have 3 different houses to pick from. I just like to be able to do a variety of stuff. building country sides, towns and so forth. But if thats not possible at this time then ill understand.

Yep - once again, it's intentional that there are only three basic house tiles included in the application set. Do what you can with the tiles that are included and try to demonstrate your understanding of outdoor tile placement, making the environment look natural, etc.
