Chat For Players That Don't Speak English

Featured Replies

Since there's a great amount of players that play PRO but don't necessarily understand English, i think that adding a few channels between LOCAL and ALL that are tagged "Español" "Portuguese" "French" and others, depending on player demand, would help to prevent channels of overflowing with players asking for help or looking for others who speak their language.

In case the first one is not acceptable by the team, then i suggest that the log in screen has a notice with the commands to join official channels for different languages.

Example: "to join the english channel type command" "Para unirte al canal en español escribe command".

another suggestion would be that as soon as a player starts a new character and joins the world, a pop up screen shows up with the commands to add and join channels, as well as other important things to players that may not be as intuitive. in different languages if possible.

Thanks for the consideration.

well there are channels atm with specific languages. you just have to join them

Yes but new players don't necessarily know that, and if said players don't speak English they will never find out.

Well since they already have different channels for different languages, they cannot do anything about new players not knowing about it, they just have to find out while playing the game. or they can just join a guild with the language they speak

lolwhat? what do you mean if the player doesn't speak english they would never find out? that's pretty stupid to assume

i am sure that there are other experienced players that speak the same language as said player that could easily help them out with finding different / language based channels.

Well i don't find it stupid because the channels are always flooded with messages and to keep up with a conversation you gotta scroll up a lot, meaning that at times there's players shouting over and over but no one answers. So i believe this are good solutions because it will help to balance traffic in channels and also point out to players where a more suiting channel for them is located.

i'm sorry, but the fact that you said just because some players don't speak english they wouldn't find out how access these other channels, is pretty stupid & ignorant as well i might add. because clearly there are other players that speak their language that could easily guide them into finding out how to access these channels. lol

maybe if you didn't lack the common sense required to not assume such an absurd thing, i wouldn't have a reason to be condescending. thank you
