Learning an ability problem

Featured Replies

Hello,

I posted this problem in the glitch forum but thought for the conclusion that I was after, General Support might be able to help. When my pokemon was learning an ability, the game kept the ability that I chose to discard. I tried leveling the pokemon one more time to see if the menu would pop up again but it did not. I tried to teach my Pikachu Quick Attack but the game kept Play Nice when I chose to get rid of Play Nice for Quick Attack. In game chat recommended to just relearn the ability but I wanted to see if it is possible for staff to swap the abilities out and if it is an easy fix. Thank you.

We can't swap abilities like that. You should just visit a Move Relearner, like you already witnessed. The first one is in Cerulean City and demands 2k per move.

It's no big deal after all.

Thank you for the reply, I will visit the move relearner. I am very sure I did not misclick which is why I posted initially under bugs. Topic resolved :)

Sorry for your inconvenience. Enjoy your game!
