Expandable chat list with dedicated chat rooms for most languages

Featured Replies

I would like to suggest the implementation of a chat list that can be expanded or minimized by users.

This chat list should feature chat rooms dedicated to specific languages.

The list should contain chat rooms other than that that is visible normally.

This list should have a scroll bar to be compact and not interfere with game-play.

The chat list should be designed to match the current game aesthetics.

I am aware of the command to join a language specific chat but feel that it may be inconvenient for players.

Chats selected from this list should open up a language chat just as "/cgjoin chat" would.

I think that this idea is relatively simple and do-able by the PRO staff.

Background of suggestion:

While playing during and after the recent lag period I noticed a lot of foreign chat in chats that forbade it.

Although it did annoy me for the most part, a comment that one of the foreigners made, made me feel a little guilty

for even considering chiding them. They commented on the fact that the English dominated chat kept telling them

not to chat in their native language but could access chats for their own language very easily.

While I understand that the intent behind keeping the dominant chats English is not to promote prejudice, I also see

how many foreigners who want to enjoy this game would have a hard time or feel ganged up on and therefore rebel at times.

The refusal to follow the rules should be handled as stated, I agree with that.

I think that instead we should try to reduce reasons for people to want to break the rules in the first place. Especially when it comes to language barriers.

Thank you for reading this :)
