I cant use the pickaxe im by a rock and it says ''this item is not used in this way''

Are you trying to use the Axe in the right way? Also, make sure it's in your inventory?

Never used the item myself, but try pressing Space when trying to break the rock, alternativly put the Axe on your hotbar meaning 1-5 keys and try pressing your key should work! :boot:

 

Axe = cut

Pick = rock smash
