Everstones prevent your pokemon from evolving. It's great for leveling something up to 100 so you don't accidentally evolve it. You cannot get an Everstone in Kanto and once you finally get it, it costs 200K AND a lot of your time. Not to mention, you can only naturally acquire one. Really? I saw someone buy one for 300K recently. Outbid me by a mile. I tried to buy one offering 100K and no body would sell it for that price. Now I finally have my own in johto and of course I no longer need it haha.
