Right now my team is a lvl 100 cloyster, lvl 95 gengar, lvl 86 dragonite, lvl 85 gyarados, lvl 85 crobat. So i was debating on bringing either my golem (ground/rock) or hitmonlee (fighting). I was thinking of hitmonlee since his move set is pretty good against almost any type, but my golem has sturdy which is nice.

I'd rather go with Hitmonlee thanks to its speed on PvE and E4, Golem is too slow and it will almost always have to take a hit before retaliating which means that it will cost you a lot of potions to keep it healthy.

But i think that your Gyarados and Gengar will do the job by themselves

LOL!! Don't bring either hitmonlee or golem -- your current team of 5 will wipe out Johto E4 easy :-)
