It seems me and someone else both have this problem.

 

Summary:

- Finished quest for magma

- Told to find vacation leader for reward

- Instead find team aqua grunt gives us the core we already destroyed

- Used core to stop eruption that already happened

- Told to meet operation leader for team aqua for reward at Kalijodo cave

- Cave empty

 

Problems:

 

- Can't continue with quest

- Can't fight bosses

- Can't get reward from Mayor

- Torchic Spawn area has become Mudkip Spawn area

 

Solutions:

 

- I don't care at this point if you delete all of my progress in Vulcan Island, so that I may at least not be stuck as I do it again.
