I left the island and when I returned the npc began to double

This has happened to me too right after the maintenance was done. I already fought the NPCs so I was surprised when I was stopped, but didn't have any battles, just the dialogues were done.

the question is : when the one week will past, and the npc will reset will we then fight the real + duplicate ones ? (I say we because I'm in the same case)
