I was battling red on the summit of Mount silver. And I got disconnected. When I logged back in, and went back to the summit, he was gone. Does this mean I have to wait 2 weeks to battle him again? I really need to get to trainer's valley please do something about this.

 

I simply cannot wait 2 weeks for him to appear again.

I dont think Red is one of those boss you can rebattle, I won at the first try and I have never seen him again on the summit of mt silver

Once you've battled Red there whether you win or lose, have caught data for 120 pokemon numbered 1-150 in dex and 38 evolutions, go to Goldenrod or Saffron train station, go through to the train and the NPC just in front of the train will have the option to go to Trainers Valley
