I just caught a really good scyther, but I don't know how I should build it. PRO is my first pokemon game. I understand the ev training and level up-level, but I don't know how I should train this guy.

 

I thought about 252atk/252sp/6def,

but I see people with 252hp/252atk/6def, so i'm confused. I also want to know a good moveset for it,

252 atk 252 hp 6 def is fine, scizor is very slow and investing in speed won't let it outspeed important threats

 

as for the moveset, it comes down to preference.

 

Sword Dance + Bullet Punch + X-Scissors + Superpower is the most common running around

Some people run Wing attack Brick Break or even Roost. If you aren't experienced i'd go with the set above though
