Any grinding advice?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

First of all, this might be a duplicate topic for all I know, but I couldn't unearth any previous ones (maybe hasn't tried hard enough, I'm a lazy person).

I'm in Kanto at the moment, just arrived on Cinnabar, with one lvl 69 and five lvl ~60-64 Pokémon. I don't want to take on Blaine without levelling all my buddies to at least 70. I am, however, a bit clueless as to where I should go to grind. My Geodude is doing fine in the Mansion along with my Squirtle, but taking on lvl 30-ish enemies is a very slow ascent. And don't get me wrong, no problem with taking it slow and grinding, but I was just wondering if there are any good grinding spots for all types. Maybe there is a better place to level up my Pokémon and I just don't know it. Maybe there's no good spot and I just have to roll with whatever comes my way, I don't know.

But any pieces of advice is appreciated. :)

Since your not allowed to go into Victory Road as of now. There's really no amazingly efficient spot you can grind in sadly. Only where the highest level pokes spawn. I'd look around, and find a high level route you can grind in, it'll help you a lot! PM me if you have any further questions, hope this helped a bit.

First of all, thank you very much for replying! I am not allowed to use the PM feature as of yet, sadly. Is there any way to find out which routes have higher lvl Pokémon? Or only the good old go and find out yourself way?

I recommend walking around for yourself, you'll find places where fire types. Or water types train better. And it'll increase your knowledge of where the lvl variables change :)

There was a cave on kanto(I played the story a few months ago, 5+, so i dont really remember) and it was an ice cave, articuno was there and there spawned ice/water pokes(Gyarados, slowbro, etc) 40+ and with them i leveled my pokes to beat all 8 gyms, then on victory road grinded to 85 so i could beat e4

Yup, Seafoam Island is the best. And if I remember correctly, Seafoam Island B4F surf has the best Pokemon to level up. Has Golducks, Golbats, Dewgongs etc.

Thank you all for the help! :) Now I just need a place to farm my Growlithe... :D Tho B4F has a Nurse Joy, right? So should be okay.
