Ge096
After seeing the topics I think that nobody has suggested this... I don't know whether other players agree or not but I believe that it's not fair being matched up again and again with a player that you just lost from. This has happened to me a few times and to be honest I dc'ed in a couple of these matches because I already knew the freaking result of the battle since nothing had changed on neither of our teams ..So I'm not suggesting not being matched up with the same player for the whole day or more but at least for like 45 min . I know that sometimes you might lose because the opponent landed a crit or you missed an attack or whatever and you might actually beat him next time but there is also the case of him being way better than you and just giving you another standard loss . I like this, especially at the top, I've waited in order to not play the same opponent again. Could prob reduce the time to 30min. Hi, First of all, there is a Suggestion forum, you should've post there :p (don't re-post there now, as a CC will probably move this thread) Second of all, it actually got suggested 22h ago (but in a mash-up thread instead of a dedicated one, so yeah, it's hard to spot it ^^) About the topic: Even though I don't PVP much, I agree with this, even not talking about win or loss, but facing again the same exact 6 pokés is redundant Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/47134-suggestiontemporarily-stop-matching-up-with-the-same-players/#findComment-289119 Share on other sites

Thejollypear
I agree with this, as shown up before in multiple suggestions. And myself being matched up with one player 6 times before. I 100% am for this. width=400pxhttps://i.imgur.com/9pNePO2.png[/img] Server: Silver width=234pxhttps://i.imgur.com/0Zly8nz.png[/img] Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/47134-suggestiontemporarily-stop-matching-up-with-the-same-players/#findComment-289121 Share on other sites
Shewas18
Well , what you suggested is making sense if the amount of pvp players was a way higher, the thing is ,depending of your elo (points) or the time of the day you'r playing , (gmt , late in the night, early in the morning, or even in fullday ) finding opponent is hard , like really hard unless your amount of points is kinda low or decent . Yeah it's painfull for a 0-200pointer to face a high ranked guy twice in a row or a bit delayed ,wich one was probably waiting for over ten minutes (ain't joking, this is actually true ) but it's how an elosystem works ,if you'r finding atop 25guy when you just started is mean af,but this one was probably waiting to find someone for a ton of time (yeah sometimes it just instapoping idk why ) and it's so much punitive for the high elo guy anyway than the lower one wanting to save some kind of pride or not being pissed to just loose twice sraigth(i'll not speak about hax chance , not the subjet here ) , it takes me 10minutes to find a 0-100points guy , i'm going to win 1 or 2 points, maybe 3 if im lucky ,yeah he got really few chance of winning, but still can and there goes a +25-30 for him high reward for almost no punishement at all , tbh facing low elo guy is way more scarier than playing someone around your own elo ,unless you play a really bulky team ,getting haxxed to a point even if you'r better sometimes you can't deal with it (yeah most of the top 25 is elositting till the saison end (yeah there no cba about when it ends, but after 2months expect her to stop anyday so ppl are tryharding), two days ago it took me 3games against 0-50pointers guy to go down to 400 from 500 withing 3games (freeze chance is kinda dumb è_é),but a whole day to take them back without loosing once against same kind of guy , so yeah what you are suggesting is asking for a totally dead ladder . Some very well put points. Never played at a higher elo so this opens some views. Matchmaking has always been better for me. But number of players PVP like you said, isen't alot. Causing IF this method was introduced matchmaking queues to sky rocket a bit due to people not being able to re"queue" with the same person. width=400pxhttps://i.imgur.com/9pNePO2.png[/img] Server: Silver width=234pxhttps://i.imgur.com/0Zly8nz.png[/img] Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/47134-suggestiontemporarily-stop-matching-up-with-the-same-players/#findComment-289123 Share on other sites

As long as queue times do not skyrocket I am all for it. Shay3100
it happened to me that i lost to someone, then when i entered we battled again, BUT i knew the team he had and he didnt change his play style so i won by the second time, if you mean with the same guy right away after you lose/win i recommend to change the game style a bit. Big thanks to Auras for that sig!
