Guest BigFatJambles
It just came across my mind and I discussed it with a guildee... Through all of the pokemon that have been caught - I've seen fantastic ones with good iv's and abilities, but the nature completely turns the players that catch them off even though they were lucky with iv's... I know that sync is implemented, but its not only with natures either... I've been a player of Destiny since the beta, and bungie implemented a really good mechanic that I think would work out well on this game - Re-rolling. Say you catch a pokemon with very good Iv's and nature, but the ability is something you completely don't want. Or, you get abilities or natures that you don't want but extremely good iv's... Maybe a re-rolling system very much like Destiny's where you spend an amount of money, I'm not sure what it would be - 20k - 25k- maybe 5k and it goes up 5k each time? So it would go a little bit something like this: You talk to an NPC that tells you to select one of your pokemon.(His name could be like, "Nature Narcicist Joe" or something like that, this is just for example...) He tells you that you need to pay whatever amount of money to take a chance of getting the nature you want, if not, you'd have to pay money again, and or more money if that would be efficient. Or maybe it could be tinymushrooms(or an item similar to that) etc. - And even better yet, what about those shinies that roll great but with unwanted abilities/natures? Thats a half of a rabbit's foot right there! :D I will say once again, this is just a thought that spread across my mind playing Destiny and P.R.O simultaneously... - I hope to see your opinions and responses ;) Maybe the same thing could work out with abilities as well...Again - this is just a thought...don't smite me ;-; I'm sure this has crossed somebody's mind before, but I'm not saying EVERY SINGLE POKEMON should be able to be re-rolled, I'm saying more along the lines of epic pokes with LARGE amounts of iv's, say you get a nearly 6x31 pokemon with the wrong ability and you can't use it in pvp the way you want, then only that pokemon with a certain amount of iv's could be re-rolled because it was luckily rolled with large amounts of iv's? Guest BigFatJambles
289263 no. rng is rng don't ruin that. Hmmm. But what about a small change for exclusively epic pokes? or shiny pokemon themselves... Its quite rare to get a shiny in and of itself - why not changing the ability on the shiny or nature etc because of that reason?
Riceball99
They wouldn't be "Exclusively epic pokes" if you can just change their stats. And shinies, that would make their price go up a lot and become a lot more attractive, would affect the economy for sure.
Jilano
289259 - Hi, Officially, this will never be a thing, actually anything that would make it easier to get a perfect poké will very likely never be implemented EDIT: Forgot the quote. :l Here it is: 209177IV or nature change / Reduce boss battle cooldowns / Revalue boss reward Rejected. PRO has its own vision and is an MMO. It is not supposed to be a copy of the handheld games, or hand players easy rewards on a silver platter. The Random Number Generated (RNG) system would be rendered pointless if all players could easily get perfect Pokemon via breeding or something similar being implemented. [...] Besides, there are 25 natures; At the 13th roll, you'd have more than 50% chance to get the nature you wanted; If each try n costs 5000*n , then you'd need 455 000$ for the best nature for your full 29+iv poké with good ability 455 000$ isn't that much for a God poké :Ambivalent: If ever something similar would be implemented, it'd be more something like a very difficult Boss (with 2 weeks CD ofc), in a Membership-only area, only one try per battle won, only available for one of the six pokés of your team (meaning you'd have to bring him with you for the fight), 1 chance out of the 25 natures available, billed a big amount of money and not available for the legendaries, maybe even not available for any poké that you're not the Original Trainer of

Why do you want to put your human hand on something that is 100% random? If you feel like finding a rare shiny isn't on it's own a lucky event then i think you're greedy and ungrateful :((( Check my Mall!
Frux
I bet mostly people specifically hunters already thought of this. I'm sorry but this kinds of things should never be implemented on a mmorpg and solely bases on RNG when it comes to grinding certain pokes. The thrill/excitement/disappointments/fighting-spirit/etc. they exist bcoz of RNG. ~Frux , grinding trash pokes since 11/13/2015. Our present sufferings are not worth comparing to the glory that will be revealed in us. -Romans 8:

Jahus
289259 I know that sync is implemented, but its not only with natures either... It would make the sync useless; I would just go hunt for a random nature and good IVs, then go change the nature once the perfect IVs are found. 289719 At the 13th roll, you'd have more than 50% chance to get the nature you wanted; I'm not okay with what you are saying. The RNG doesn't take in account the previous result, does it? If it doesn't, then 13th roll has 50% chance, and 25th roll has 50% chance to get the same nature as sync. And still 1/25 chance to get any nature without sync. Red server Shop | Boss Guide Lite
