Defog now clears away Spikes, Toxic Spikes, Stealth Rock, and Sticky Web present on both sides of the field. It still only clears away Safeguard, Mist, Reflect, and Light Screen from the target's side of the field.

As stated above, the move defog is supposed to clear entry hazards from both sides.

But it is only supposed to clear Reflect/Light Screen from the target's side.

 

I was battling with a friend and I noticed whenever I used the move defog with my scizor, it not only cleared away the opponent's light screen, but it also cleared away the reflect that I set up just 2 turns ago.

 

I tested this multiple times and it is true.

In this game, the move defog clears away my reflect as well as the opponent's reflect.

 

 

Could you guys fix this?? I know you guys are busy but I think this is a clear problem. I have a team that has both the move reflect and the move defog and it is counterproductive if defog clears away my reflect :Shocked:

u should read defog, it will clear ALL HAZZARDS even on your side. IF your using a set up u shouldnt be using defog

nvm defog shouldnt clear your own reflect/light screen tested it in showdown so its bugged here, it only clears hazards like stealth rock spikes sticky web toxic spikes on both sides

Defog SHOULD CLEAR ALL ENTRY HAZARDS like stealth rock and spikes, etc.

But it should NOT CLEAR MY REFLECT/LIGHTSCREEN, IT SHOULD ONLY CLEAR THE OPPONENT'S REFLECT/LIGHTSCREEN.

This is how the move works onwards from generation 6.
