I had this crazy idea just now.

 

Ok so the thing is. We can't catch legendaries right? Ok so we'd still love to have them in our inventory though, even as an item. Why not make "lucky charms" for legendary pokemons then? Each one would be super hard to obtain, different requirements for each one and u choose one only, maybe make it only one obtainable per IP address and maybe non-tradeable. The effects would be something like "increases the encounter rate of "rare tier" mons" or something like "increases the shiny encounter rate from 1/8192 to 1/4096" or something like that. Maybe those effects are a bit "too much" but like seriously just some cosmetic items that would have beneficial effects to the player but would be rly hard to obtain, like harder than winning consecutive boss battles (cmon that's not so hard anyways xd)

 

Idk just an idea lmk what u think. (still want my lugia lucky charm :c )

i would really need a lucky charm for some shiny pokemon because i have not a single one yet

i like the idea. but they need to be really hard to get and not tradeable.

Uhhh yeah that's true... :/ well...

Nothing would ever be done to the shiny rate. That is something wrong with a lot of other pokemon MMOs "Oh hey look everyone has shinies!"
