Head Smash recoil

Featured Replies

I was against an NPC that had a Rampardos, I switched out to my Steelix on a Head Smash, so it didn't do a lot (like 10-15% of my hp). And the Rampardos lost 50% of its total hp instead of 50% of the hp that I lost on my Steelix. A little mistake in the coding of the move probably, but it makes a big difference.

Hey,

it's kinda hard to judge if ist bugged or not. Since we dont know the iv spread of rampardos. It could be that 7.5% of your Steelix are equal to 50% of this Rampardos life. Very unlikely but possible.

If possible you should do some testing with Pokemon you know.

I didn't show the calcs because I thought it was common sense that 15% of the hp of a lv.71 Steelix isn't 100% of the hp of a lv.66 Rampardos. But very well, I'll show the calcs:

My Steelix had like 206 hp, 15% of that is, more or less, 31. So Rampardos should have lost 15 hp in the recoil.

A Rampardos with 0 IV HP and 0 EV's has 204 hp at lv.66. (15/204)*100 = 7,3%. Which is waaaaaay far from the 50% that he lost.
