Everytime I try to type something, the writing gets all messed up and then I can't erase it completely, the first letter always remains.

That only happens while typing in-game... Any idea what's happening ? I even log out for a couple of hours and when I logged back in there was still a letter stuck in my chat bar...

 

This is what I personally would do:

 

- Use the f2 key, than close the window again. Sometimes fixes chat errors.

- Re-log my client. (Which you have already done.)

- Re-download my client.

- If all else doesn't work, wait for staff help.
