Hi I think it's a little boring to have to rebattle a Npc compulsorily, It would be better if you've to talk with the Npc to rebattle (as for the big pumpkin), maybe add a symbol on the head of a NPC to indicate that you can rematch.

I agree with this point. Sometimes you just want to walk somewhere without hassle.
