Make subway and teleporters free

It says in the "Read this before making a suggestion thread" that teleporters exist to as a workaround to avoid npc rebattles. The thing is though the subway charges us $2,500 every time we want to go to another city and even more if we want to go to another region so it's not something that we can use that often or we will become poor fast. So eventually we are going to be forced to fight those npcs and rebattle them because we will start to run out of money from taking the subway all the time. That's why it should be free if your intention is really to help us avoid battling npcs. HM Fly in the video games was free so it makes sense that the subway should be free as well. If that's not okay with you then I would be willing to pay for a cash item to get unlimited subway/teleporter use with no charge ever again or maybe just a large one time fee of pokemoney for a lifetime membership card to use the subway/teleporters as much as i want without paying another pokedollar for it.

They serve as a good and necessary money sink, so it won't happen.

 

Though I could suggest something like monthly transportation ticket, for about 250-500k which would allow us to use the transportation services without paying for each of them individually for a month. It would still serve as a great money sink but would also be helpful for players who like to travel a lot.

Thanks for the suggestions, though, as pointed out by other users, Subway and Teleporters serve as a money sink to help balance the economy. In effort to reduce mass inflation, money sinks are put in place to give players something to spend their money on. Similar to the rare item sellers or Focus Sash seller. They're mostly optional which gives players an option to ignore them if they choose.

 

Without money sinks, there would be loads of excess money floating around which would raise the price of items and Pokemon that are sold by players; as everyone would have more money to spend. This drastic effect on the economy is something we try our best to avoid to give the best experience to the players. It's one of the reasons why we introduced the Subway and Teleporter systems instead of adding HM Fly's notorious use outside of battle. We also don't want to add a Donation Shop item that give you unlimited access to these as it would be Pay to Win and unfair on the players who can't or don't donate.

 

If you're struggling to make money then you can always check out the Money Making Guide for some tips on how to gain as much money possible. This should help defeat the thought that trainers are the only income on PRO. Again, thanks for the suggestion. Though we may not respond to them all, be sure that we read each one and write down the good ones for a later date.
