342300 Hello everyone, have a quite simple question, is there any way to down a pokemon's lvl ?

If no, could it be a suggestion for future implementation ?

I was wondering cause I forgot to switch from my Everstone to my Razor claw while doing my 99-100 on my Sneasel :/

Hello,

No, it ain't possible. As you can read in the FAQ:

Can you devolve my Pokémon to a lower level or stage?

We will not devolve nor unlevel your Pokémon. Think carefully when leveling, evolving or changing the moveset of your Pokémon!

It most likely will never be a thing possible to do, for the same reason than the items able to change a pokémon's nature/get more xp/xp share aren't ingame: it is not the way they are heading.

The game has purposedly been made more "difficult" (or at least less casualized) than the handheld games

Sorry for your stillborn Weavile, though; I hope for you that you'll find another good Sneasel rather fast :p

342317I don't think losing a lvl on a pokemon has something to do with the difficulty though.

Not the difficulty per se, but in the way that doing a (rather big) mistake wouldn't be punitive, because you could hit a button and just use another rare candy to fix it.

The way it is now is punitive: you have to train up a new one.

That's what I meant by "more "difficult""

By the way, try to win a fight with your lvl 100 Sneasel holding the claw -if you haven't already-; I really doubt that it'll work, but it would be a shame to up a new one if it would have.

342331 Talking about it, I should try as you said, I had this "kind of a bug" with my crobat where it was asking to evolve at every pokemon I killed (before it was a crobat ofc).

Because Golbat evolve by happiness, so it's not a bug

But Sneasel should evolve by lvl up+item+at night time, hence why I really doubt it'll work :p

Hello Lurou! I'm glad to see MecanoJilano helped you out. We are not able to de-level/de-evolve pokemon. As stated in the FAQ,

Can you devolve my Pokémon to a lower level or stage?

We will not devolve nor unlevel your Pokémon. Think carefully when leveling, evolving or changing the moveset of your Pokémon!

If you have any other questions I recommend taking a look at the FAQ before asking. Hope you have a nice day!!
