Hey,

 

I played a pvp game and my Misma couldnt kill a 30 to 35% hp PARALYSED Ninetales ( He didnt had any spdef boost by any way ) with Hex. It should be a 130 power move, used by a poke sharing the type of the move ( Stab ), 300+ spatk , holding Spell Tag.

I lost on that..

 

Also, my opponent forced me to dc instead of killing the last poke i had left alive. But thats an other story (:

 

Can someone explain me what happened with the move i used?

You should provide calcs next time so those who look at this thread can see.

 

If the scenario is correct, you're right. Even if it was a Calm Ninetales with 252 HP and 252 Spdef EVs, you should've KOd it.

 

252 SpA Spell Tag Mismagius Hex (130 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Ninetales: 156-184 (44.5 - 52.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
