I just watched a YT video, that focused on the topic of a new type possibly being intruduced in generation 7 (

).

 

Now I find this very interessting, the idea of intruducing a completly new mechanic to the game, that could possibly fix some of the unbalanced issuses we have atm.

And this is the part I where want to know what you think:

 

What new type would you like to have ?

What would it be effectiv / ineffective against ?

Or do you think we even need a new type ?

 

I personally want to see a type that can support the grass type, which atm is probebly the weakest type of all.

Something that might make sence in that regard could be the light type.

This type would be resisten against ghost, poison, fairy and fire and weak against dark,

In the offense it is also very effective against dark, poison and normal and not very effective against grass, light and bug.

 

Yet I have no idea if this would acuatly work :Crazy:

 

But for now let me hear your ideas.

i wont take it serious, but i am considering 'liquid' as subs type.

immune to dark | strong againts rock, water | weaks againts fire, poison

Well, I think we're good with the types we have. Pokemon is not 100% battles, you have too capture new pokemon, search for items and explore the world in general, and is in those things that GRASS-types are on their best. I personally like how a whole type of pokemon is only (mostly) useful to catch other pokemon.

 

I'd like to see that LIGHT type tho :)
