When i use Tail glow+Baton pass, it works in the wild. But not in PVP. WHY?

• This category is for moves, abilities & items that are not working as intended but does not makes a player take a loss, nor has a significant impact in PvP.
  Here are the list, with an explanation included:
   

Baton Pass (Sometimes using Baton Pass will just switch out Pokemon instead of Baton Passing to the next Pokemon).
Smack Down (Doesn’t bring enemy Pokemon down).
Competitive (Only works with actual stat-dropping moves. Statuses don't count).
Whirlpool (Can switch out when trapped).
Detect (Two turn moves can inflict secondary effects).
Fake Out (Fake out should work when the Pokemon with fake out is switched in with a move like volt switch, roar, dragon tail, etc).
Mean Look (Traps your own Pokemon).
Weather Abilities- (The faster Pokemon's weather will take place, instead of the slower's, if placed on the field at same time).
U-turn- (Cannot use the move if the user has no other Pokemon to swap too).
Volt-switch- (Still able to swap against a Pokemon with Volt Absorb).
Taunt- (Currently can't stop an enemy user from using sleep talk).
Flare Blitz- (Has no chance to burn. Does not thaw a frozen user).
Sand Tomb- Secondary trapped damage still hits flying type Pokemon.
Synchronize- Sometimes fails to pass status to the enemy Pokemon.
