"X failed to have any effect" vs "X misses"

I'm sure most people have figured out that some/all status moves in PRO show a dialogue of "xxxxx failed to have any effect" when they miss. Such as using Toxic against your opponent and the game saying "POISON failed to have any effect..." for your missed Toxic attempt.

I believe that this is very misleading and can cause a person a game in PvP. This is because there are certain abilities which are immune to certain statuses. Such as Limber (paralysis), Own Tempo (confusion), Immunity (poison), Water Veil (burn) etc.

You may be spamming Toxic against a Snorlax with Immunity, thinking it's Thick Fat & you're just unlucky missing 3 times in a row because the game shows the exact same dialogue for both a miss and an ineffective move like the one in this case. In this particular scenario, you would be wasting a few turns while most likely allowing Snorlax to set up, which could ultimately lose you the game.

It should be fixed. A missed move is a miss, not something that "failed to have any effect".
