Ability capsules may seem unnecessary because you can look for another Pokémon but the frustration is epic, when you get good nature and IV somehow and a bad ability. (Like my Timid 30/21 Abra with Inner Focus. Let's try another 100 Abras for Magic Guard, or just use an inferior ability.) Also, like say, Dragonite gets Multiscale by luck after evolving. Imagine training 5 Dratinis after looking for good IV and nature for days and all of them having Inner Focus. This is why Abilty Capsules are necessary imo.

 

Auction house is probably suggested before but I'm new so might as well. Trading seems so slow progressing atm, if the Pokémon is not epic it's not even worth bothering to trade. Like, try to advertise your Pokémon among all the spam, find someone somehow, meet in the same PC somehow (at least make this any PC so we do this easier. I didn't beat Kanto E4 yet and guy was at Blackthorn so... :/) and then trade. If there was AH trading would be much more fun.
