Okay so I just became Hoenn Champion and after that the tv said that there is a red pokemon somewhere in Hoenn. Where can I find it? And also what else is there in Hoenn?

the red pokemon is latias and it will be mega latias when you fight it somewhere in hoenn. Although for now it's not needed if you're just starting the hoenn story, it's part of the jirachi quest that you can find a guide on the game guide subforums and in the jirachi guide, there's listed the possible location to find latias.
