So, I beat the second rocket grunt in Mt. Silver. As luck would have it the server crashed not long after, pushing my progression back before the grunt. Now he says I lost and I can't move past. Talking to an in game mod, I will need to progress for future in game quests. Seems important enough for some help. Appreciate it.

I'm sorry for your inconvenience, but don't worry you just have to wait 4 hours. There is a cooldown on these Rocket Grunts if you loose or, in your case if you have been hit by a roll back.
