In a PVP match, I used roost on a togekiss. The opposing bisharp outsped and died from life orb damage, but then togekiss did nothing when it should have roosted.

Maybe the bisharp used iron head, if you use roost that turn the flying type will disable for that turn which the steel type is very effective to fairy

You missed the point Tatsumiii.

 

On PRO when a pokemon faints, the turn is over, even if your pokemon didn't made a move yet. Same with brave birding talonflames suiciding on clefables to deny the softboiled. I know that on the original games this shouldn't happen but this is how PRO works.
