60 balls to catch an Aipom ?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I just had an encounter with a really really reluctatn Aipom and wanted to know if that was normal.

I managed to catch it after sending 52 Pokeballs, 2 Greats and 2 Ultras, even though it was lvl 6 and asleep -> then paralyzed.

I calculated that it had about 10^-5 chances that this situation occurs, which seems quite abnormal.

Is there an explanation for this ?

Cheers,

Hello superjambon ,

I would like to inform you that Aipoms Catch Rate is 45, which is the same exact catch rate as Starter Pokemons for example (5.9%), spending so many balls on it is still very unlucky. But being it pretty low Catch Rate (considering 255 is the highest catch rate possible) this was to be somewhat expected.

I hope I kinda cleared that mess in your head for you and I wish you good day.
