I have a concern regarding the auction which happened few minutes ago.

 

I had the b.o for turtwig at 9.57 until someone bidded last second at 9.59

 

The time it takes to refresh page and see if there was more bid. I saw his posted and inmediately posted a higher bid.

 

Now i found out that my bid was at 10.00 and i was told that i was late because of the timer.

 

 

First of all if thats the case how is this thing an auction? This is basically a last minute sniping

 

I woke up 3am just for this just to see this result.

 

 

If there are 2 people on bid war for a certain poe why would it be limited to a time? I understand if it was long time after his final bid but all he did was wait final second to offer.

 

 

If thats the case then whats the purpose of this auction? Wasnt it to deplete the pokecash ingame? Also have u guys seen what an auction ia really like?

 

If this decision pushes tru then it would have been better if all buyers waited final seconds 9:59 and 59 seconds to post their offer since they will win anyway. Pls tell me what you think as i find it really unfair.

Agree 100%. Hate these types of auctions, people who have unfair advantage due to time-zones and do last minute sniping. :sick:

So i sent a mssge to gm letix and he informed me that timer end at 9.59.59 first of all the timer should have ended at 9.59.30 since thats what the timer said (the one which was posted) i know because i checked it in the official time of google. Oh well i know this wont end well for me and i wont just push this through. Congrats to all that got shiny pokes :)

i agree, i was at work and online by my phone, i cant stay and keep my eyes at who will change their mind and go offer another shiny

as for me i was waiting who will offer more since clearly i didnt think about the last second rule. I thought they would put last call or give chance to the other bidder. It just didnt align with their goal to deplete the pokecash ingame

well sincerely , i wasn't bidding on any shinies but I was watching then auctions , some people kept on offering even after the countdowns had ended , and that's made the results a bit weird and some looked at them as unfair , well If the auctions ended by the give up of one of the parts , that would have been way better than count downs ... etc .

Although I won the auction I agree 100% with u and i also told darkphase about that the day before the auction ended

I suggested +1 hour after every bid but staff declined that
