If ur pokemon is shiny u need 580+ points instead of the normal 290 points to obtain the volcarona wings.

As said in the main topic of the Bug Catching Contest, you need at least 400 points to get the Volcarona Wings if you get a shiny Pokemon, and at least 290 points if your Pokemon is not shiny.

Note from Thor: due to their being another item available for players who get 290+ points score (or 400+ if they caught shiny pokemon) I am requesting that you post it here, with a screen from the contest hall map, points score visible and the pokemon's stats sheet itself!

 

I'm sorry but you can't claim the Wings with this Pokemon.
