Hey there! One solution that has fixed this issue for another user was to update their mac to the latest version. You can check what version you are running by clicking on the upper left side of the screen (on the Apple) in order to check your Systems details. Please try updating your system and seeing if you get the same results.

hey there. still the same thing with the purple screen my mac is on the latest version and have been deleting the game 20 times now still nothing.... -_-

The update to download is High Sierra. You will find it on Apple Store homepage (directly from the application). After the update is finished, start last PRO Client Download and you shouldn’t have problems again with the purple screen

i dont use mac but i do have one, i randomly tried it on there and same issues for me aswell just a big ole purple screen, also did everything suggested and even tried my own fixes with no luck, i then tried the older version of PRO (before the update) and everything works just fine, just cant play because it needs updated client haha PC for the win! good luck with it
